Devon studied Aboriginal Public Administration at the University of Saskatchewan, and, in 2011, landed her first career position as a Business Development Coordinator for the Meadow Lake Tribal Council Resource Development. After helping First Nations entrepreneurs in this role and developing her sense of confidence despite her struggles regarding racism and stereotypes, Devon was inspired to start a company of her own. As a social entrepreneur, Devon discusses her dedication to selling leather goods and apparel, and shares how she elevates Indigenous women and girls through her company, SheNative.
