016 - The gap between social and dependant drinking

Paul Silva is an addiction recovery and life transition coach. He works with professionals to either cut down or cut out their alcohol consumption, helping his clients reevaluate their relationship with alcohol and co-create action plans to help them stay on course so that they can live a life free of anxiety and worry surrounding drinking. He also works with those in early recovery to help them uplevel their sobriety and they transition into a new way of living. Paul has transitioned himself, having gotten sober in 2011 and moved into a new career after 25 years of both drinking and being a chef. Today he offers one-on-one private coaching, with group coaching and courses to come as well. He is an author, podcaster, and writer and lives in Toronto, Ontario, Canada with his wife, Hina Khan, two boys and an old and clingy dachshund, Bean.
