EP28 with Chanel Venter, Founder of Magnify In 2019, Chanel was working in a corporate job in hospitality. By all accounts she was a high achiever and had received multiple promotions in her work. But she found that with each promotion, the high would quickly wear off and she would be left feeling pretty dissatisfied with her role. She wanted more freedom in her life and started to think of ways she could make that happen... Fast forward 4 years and Chanel is the Founder and Managing Director of a very successful business providing mystery shopping in the hospitality industry. Chanel has doubled the revenues of the business each year business, and has grown her team to 5 people, providing services to some of the top hospitality brands in mutiple countries. But perhaps more importantly, Chanel has achieved her goal of creating a life of freedom for herself. She lives in Bali where she works remotely amd has complete control over how and where she spends her time. Although this is a great story of someone creating a life they love, Chanel will be the first to say that it's been a total roller coaster.
