Welcome back! Season 9, episode 2 lands with the Mr Ps settling into the new school year. There’s a quick (and pointed) nod to Ofsted’s latest shenanigans, then straight into good news: the live tour is flying thanks to you, wonderful people. Manchester is sold out, more dates are close, and you can still submit anonymous stories that might be read on stage.
Thread of the week is a beauty: the worst messages sent to the wrong person. Expect workplace whoopsies, panicked “delete for everyone” attempts, and career-limiting replies. There’s accidental shade fired at bosses, heartfelt texts meant for partners delivered to parents, and autocorrect chaos that turns totally normal updates into… very not-normal ones. Family group chats aren’t safe, emergency features trigger at the worst times, and a few innocent typos escalate faster than a staffroom rumour.
From there, there are some fantastic comebacks from students to teachers, teachers to students and students to other students, some brutal, some shocking but all hilarious.
As ever, no spoilers—just enough to whet your appetite.
