Mim Shaikh on 'What's Love Got To Do With It?'

We sit down with poet, broadcaster, actor and all-over British Asian Superstar, Mim Shaikh. Mim has been a pioneer in the British Asian media world, from broadcasting on BBC 1Xtra and BBC Asian Network to his phenomenal documentary 'Finding Dad' and now in the new upcoming film 'What's Love Got To Do With It?' with a stellar cast with some of Britain's most iconic and celebrated actors. WLGTDWI is out in cinemas on 24th February 2023.

Mim joins us to talk about WLGTDWI, we delve into the premise of the film and the importance of exploring British and Pakistani culture. We also have such an open and honest conversation about Asian culture and why we do what we do, especially in this generation. We thoroughly enjoyed this episode and an honour to see someone we have followed for a while continue to grow in his journey and keep such a humble mind about everything.

Special thanks to Mim, Sharan and Destinee.
