In this episode we talk about reading pages 131-262 in Local Woman Missing by Mary Kubica, where we learn more about what happened to Shelby, and we learn about Meredith's life leading up to her and Delilah's disappearance. We talk about Shelby's traumatic birth and what transpired after it. We both have our theories and touch on them at the end of the episode. This reading really had us questioning doctors and birthing practices in America, informed consent, especially since Kayla's due date is approaching. Which of course had us wondering, what's the difference in having a midwife vs an OB.
