Empowering Women with ADHD Through the Power of Storytelling with Katy Weber, Host of the Women & ADHD Podcast

What happens when three podcast hosts and ADHDers record an episode together? Too many relatable stories! In this episode, we're excited to welcome Katy Weber, founder and host of the Women and ADHD podcast. With 20 years of experience as a journalist, editor, and designer for newspapers such as the Wall Street Journal, The Daily News, Metro International, and Hudson Valley Parent, Katy understands the power of sharing other people's stories and recognizing ourselves in others. When her world was turned upside down after an ADHD diagnosis last year, she quickly realized that listening to other women talk about their stories and revelations was the catalyst for understanding herself and working with her ADHD. Now, she hosts a podcast interviewing badass women who were diagnosed in adulthood and finally felt like, for the first time, they understood who they are and how to lean into their unique strengths. Listen in as we chat with Katy about her experience growing up with undiagnosed ADHD, self-medicating in newspaper and journalism culture, embracing our fun quirks and creative strengths in relationships and work, and lastly - our related struggles and experiences podcasting with ADHD (and fangirling about each other's podcasts)!
