We may have low self-esteem and look at others with envy, or we may look down on others pridefully. Either way, “Comparisons” come from a negative perspective. If people look on themselves negatively, they’re not demonstrating gratitude to the Lord and may become people-pleasers. But if people see themselves better than others, they’re prideful and not loving their neighbors. We can overcome comparisons!
