Emma Valente, from THE RABBLE, spoke to Kannagi for this week's Women on the Line about their new show UNWOMAN (the protest), a durational artwork celebrating the multitude of experiences around birth, fertility and pregnancy. THE RABBLE was formed in 2006 by Kate Davis and Emma Valente from a desire to make work that wasn’t being produced in Australia: visually ambitious, political, feminist and formally experimental theatre. The Rabble is looking for participants. They spoke about the union, its formation, and a local cooperative of gameworkers and other digital creatives getting active in the space.
