You can listen to the whole episode and other editions of earth matters at 3cr.org.au/earthmatters 8:15 AM// At yesterday's snap rally Palestine rally at the ABC, Palestinian activist Nour Salman read aloud the will and final message from Anas al-Sharif, who had become one of the most recognisable voices documenting the ongoing Israeli genocide in Gaza. On Monday 11th August, Free Palestine Coalition Naarm called a snap rally at the ABC Headquarters in Suthbank after targeted airstrikes by Israel killed 6 Palestinian journalists and crew. They were Anas al-Sharif, Mohammed Qreiqeh, Ibrahim Zaher, Moamen Aliwa, Mohammed Noufal and Mohammad al-Khaldi. Last month, The Committee to Protect Journalists said it was gravely concerned for Anas al-Sharif's safety as he was being “targeted by an Israeli military smear campaign”.
