I first met Bria Woods when she was in the ideation phase of her Herstory Project. A series of exhibitions where she photographs local San Antonio women and asks them to record their answers to prompts around legacy and womanhood. It was fascinating for me to watch someone go from ideation of a photography project to exhibition in an incredibly short amount of time. In this episode of the #trynabesomebody podcast, Bria will discuss her photography background, her process, and the community support that led to her exhibition success. We'll also discuss the logistics and financing required to consider taking on a project like this.
