Between 1998 and 2001, in northern Chile, a disturbing wave of disappearances began to spread panic. The missing were all schoolgirls, quiet and unremarkable, aged between 12 and 17. It would take three long years for a name to emerge from the shadows: Julio Alberto Pérez Silva, a shared taxi driver. A man with no history at least on the surface.
