The advertised status quo of ‘beauty’ is fleeting for most. We believe in finding inspiration in the natural world around us and reminding ourselves we are of this magnificence. Not only will we make more ethical and green choices about our beauty regimens, but we can rediscover and activate this natural magnificence in ourselves. With over 20 years of industry experience and now a practicing Clinical Herbalist, our host Michelle Rosetta seeks to support our natural beauty not only from the outside, but from inside as well.

Join Michelle as she covers topics such as skin sag, swelling, hormonal impact on the skin, menopausal belly, your beauty mindset and vibration, and even the best shade of nontoxic blush for the season. With a panel of neighbours from next door along with experts in their fields, we as a community will delve into products, activities, and tips that will support your beauty. Subsequently, TRU Beauty Confessions will offer a safe space to discuss how we really feel about our transforming bodies and what may be helpful to prop up the other integral, but unspoken, aspects of a beautiful self including the emotional, mental and energetic. We refuse to fade out into the background and will continue to be bold and beautiful in every season of this life journey. We cannot wait to dive in!

EP#03: Steps to Inner Beauty with Jennifer Ettinger
TRU Beauty Confessions is a part of the EcoParent Podcast Network: https://www.ecoparent.ca/podcasts

About the Episode:

Jennifer Ettinger honestly discusses what it feels like to be a part of the entertainment industry, while not fitting the traditional standards of status quo industry beauty. She delves into how she found strength in her own beauty and body issues, to give others a tangible and thoughtful way to get results in whatever beauty body challenge is being faced. She has a unique view on the relationship of beauty to mind and body, founded in her past as a museum curator. She uncovers this historical divine Goddess to find her within herself, and subsequently help others discover their own inner divinity and essentially their beauty that radiates from the inside out. Nonetheless, in finding this inner beauty it only motivates us more to care for our physical selves and stick to a program for results. She takes our host Michelle through steps to become more accepting of her own changing body and belly area, with a plan to move forward towards Michelle’s goal.

Your Guest:

Jennifer Ettinger has worked with women across the globe to embrace self-acceptance and body image. She has built a brand around "body confidence" on television as a guest expert, magazine contributor, through her TV shows, and with her best-selling book, "Find Your Inner Goddess."

Jennifer has been practicing holistic studies for 28 years. She has been a certified personal trainer with the American Council on Exercise for the last 18 years. Jennifer was named one of 10 top Canadian Women who are changing the world in 2021 by Optimyz magazine. She was awarded CV Magazine's 2018 Social Media Specialist of the Year Award and nominated again in 2019. She was also named one of Canada’s top 100 Health Influencers by OptiMyz Magazine in 2018, 2019 and 2021. She, too, was nominated for a WEGO Health Award created to recognize and honor those making a difference in the online health community. In addition, Ettinger was recently nominated for the 25th annual RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur Awards.
