As we gather to honor the blessings of freedom in our nation, we’re reminded that the greatest freedom we can ever know is found in Jesus Christ. In Celebration of Freedom, we reflect on Luke 22:14–20—Jesus' final meal with His disciples—where He speaks of a new covenant sealed with His blood, offering spiritual liberty for all who believe. This message invites us to be grateful not only for the liberties we enjoy as citizens of this country, but also for the eternal freedom Christ secured at the cross: freedom from sin, shame, fear, and death.
