Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Dividends

We continue into the third leg of episode 2 talking about equity, (aka stocks) and longer-term savings.  Trog outlines the options for 20-40 year savings plans, and how he thinks about diversifying this champagne glass of the savings pyramid.  Along the way he'll talk about minimizing risk in this area of savings by buying into larger funds rather than individual stocks, how he qualifies the idea of "missed opportunity" , and reaffirms that at the end of the in order to buy a stock someone else must be interested in selling it to you. Brett and Trog walk their way through the idea of dividends versus retained earnings, and what the stock  price really means as a result.

**This is not financial advice. The expressed opinions in the podcast are those of the speakers. You can lose all your money in the various investment options discussed, the cryptocurrency market, the stock and bond markets, or any number of financial investments, so be sure to do your own research before investing.**
