2023-2024 ders yılı güz döneminde Türkiye'deki sosyologlar üzerine Maltepe Üniversitesinde son defa verdiğim İngilizce ve Türkçe derslerde her hafta iki sosyolog anlatılmaktadır. İki videodan birisi İngilizce anlatımdır; ikincisi ise Türkçe özetidir. These are lectures in English and Turkish on sociologists in Turkey in my final semester 2023-2024 in Maltepe University. Lectures were in English; at the end of each lecture a Turkish summary was added. While editing I made two videos out of each lecture one in English and one in Turkish.

Bahattin Akşit 2024 Nermin Abadan-Unat & İbrahim Yasa: International Migration, Women and Family

This video is the English version of the Lecture on Nermin Abadan-Unat and İbrahim Yasa both of whom were sociologists in the in the Faculty of Political Sciences of Ankara University. İbrahim Yasa was born in 1911 and died in 1994; while Nermin Abadan-Unat was born in 1921 and she is still an active sociologist sharing her knowledge and experiences with young generations. This video is longer than the already existing YouTube video summarizing this lecture in Turkish.
