Hello, hello..

This is US immigration attorney Hardam Tripathi from Trip-Law, speaking to you from Tampa,

Today, we're going to be discussing lawful permanent residents, basically getting your green card through a family sponsored.

We specialize in business here at law and business immigration. And we primarily focus on family sponsorship's, visas, green cards and U.S. citizenship. So let's get right into it. But before we do, I just want to give you a legal disclaimer. You should always reach out to your attorney for any legal advice. And we hear a lot be more than happy to assist you with that. However, please do not take this as any legal advice.

This is for informational purposes only. All right.

So what is lawful Permanent residents, while lawful permanent residence is basically a legal status that you obtain here in the United States. And by doing so, you have to get that lawful permanent residence through a process, which is a green card. A green card is basically known as a permanent residency card here in the United States. And it ultimately allows these green card holders to ultimately obtain that legal permanent resident status here in the United States.

There's a lot of benefits that do come with this. And mainly it's you do have the flexibility to travel with some restraints. And many people outside of the United States actually want to obtain this legal permanent residence green card so that they can live and work permanently here in the United States and ultimately qualify for U.S. citizenship after three years or five years based on if they're married to a U.S. citizen or if they're self petitioning, respectfully speaking. Now, you can actually obtain a lawful permanent residence card through many different ways.
