Meet Our Guest: Iris Downes
Iris Downes is a UK athlete specializing in middle-distance running in both track & cross country, specifically the 800M race. Iris is from Shropshire, UK, and has been running since 2020 with Colin Lancaster her talents have grown tremendously under his coaching, and even more at Duke University. Iris has participated in several sports throughout her schooling & childhood, most notably lacrosse, where she was on the Welsh National Team and running top times on the track! Iris is passionate about her studies and running, giving us insight into being a student-athlete and her athletics!
