Tawang is high altitude town nestled in the highland of Himalayas along the Indo-China border. It is home to the second largest monastery in the world - The Tawang Monastery. Home to Monpa Tribe and small population of nomadic Brokpa tribe, Tawang is vibrant town. This podcast takes you a journey to Tawang, it’s vibe and some of the best places. The remote and offbeat Nunnery perched on the mountain opposite to Tawang Monastery was one of the best highlights. The rope way connecting the Tawang Monastery to the nunnery is lesser known.
