Nagaland is a hotspot for diverse tribal culture and traditions. Through this podcast, let me take you on a journey through the village of Khonoma - Asia’s Green Village. It is dominated by Angami Tribe - one of the tribes of Nagaland. The village is known for its community conservation efforts and have completely banned hunting, deforestation and unethical disruption of ecosystem since 1998 after the formation of Khonoma Nature Conservation & Tragopan Society. The village is surrounded by terrace paddy fields, forests, hills and believes in sustainable practices. It is one of the best places for eco-tourism.
