Behaviour is complex! It is so finessed on the elements of the contexts in which we live, engage, participate and sometimes just survive.
In Translating Complexity – The Art and Science of PBS we talk about the science (techniques) of Positive Behaviour Support within the context of NDIS behaviour support services.
This first series will have a focused 'practice' series on soft skills (managing time / managing Service Agreements and tasks / identifying what task you are actually completing – based on SA / billable time / communication with families and others, etc.) with a focused interview with a Specialist Support Coordinator on what is expected from their point of view and then also a focused podcast from a family perspective – could be 2-3 different family's involved in a composite interview.
Series 2 will focus on specialist areas of practice (Forensic Disability / Mental Health / specialty conditions, etc.).
