There's so much contention around transition and especially detransition! Usually we see examples of right-wing de-trans people who spread transphobia and share stories of feeling manipulated into transition by doctors etc!⁣

It's not often enough, or at all (for me, it wasn't until meeting Lucy), we see stories of detrans people who are healed, integrated, and empowered with how they approach their story.⁣

A resilient and empowering woman, Lucy bravely shares her experiences from her initial transition at 12 to her detransition journey at 26, as well as all the shame that surrounded that decision!⁣

Her hope is to help show that detransition is a non-political neutral act, and like anything else, is deserving of compassion and understanding. Lucy speaks out compassionately against the harmful victimization of detransitioners by the right-wing, emphasizing the importance of unity and solidarity.⁣
