Neither Pet Parent Nor Fur Kid, and why
Some of the best animal people I know are happy to call themselves pet parents - they love their animals, they care for them, and their animals are family. But I think there is much more to this. I think that the nuance is important. Just as we can miss the moon if the rocket path is off by half a degree, in our desire to be the best partners to animals, I think we miss a really important point, when we designate ourselves in parent roles, rather than in collaborative roles. Thanks for hearing me out. Copyright 2023 Kayce Cover, All rights reserved, Syn Alia Training System (SATS), synalia.com/press
