I'm Tom Ray and I started this show because I wanted to get back into making art and getting involved with the art community. And what better way to do that than to find artists and talk to them directly. I wanted to hear about how people create, promote themselves, and in the meantime still manage their own well-being.

He aimed to provide a visual perspective on America's story beyond news reports and facts. Kamal discusses the challenges of getting published before connecting with a UK publisher.
