Episode 30: Dear Christmas

Well Happy Holidays Dear listeners.

This week for our grand, season 1 finale, we have not one but two special guests, Andrea Harris and Irena Giraud. We have a great Letter from Breanne, to Christmas, where we talk about traditions and the complexities of Christmas. We also chat about our favorite moments from the season and Loz reads a letter to Breanne.

Some of the topics we talk about include:

  • Christmas can evoke strong emotions, both positive and negative.
  • Traditions can feel rigid and stifling, yet they hold sentimental value.
  • Vulnerability in storytelling fosters connection and understanding.
  • Personal experiences shared can resonate with others, creating a sense of community.
  • The pressure of consumerism during the holidays can lead to feelings of inadequacy.
  • Engaging in secret giving can bring fulfillment during the holiday season.
  • It's important to create our own traditions that reflect our values and preferences.
  • Honest conversations about grief and loss can be healing and necessary

Have a merry Christmas and a happy new year. We’ll see you in 2025.

Loz and B.
