Philosopher Daniel Coffeen talks to artist Phil King about his work. Coffeen wrote an essay about King's work titled 'Squiggles All The Way Down'. 

Phil King holds his M.A, Fine Arts, Goldsmiths College, London and B.A., Honours, Painting, Fine Art, Painting, The Bath Academy of Art. King serves as the co-editor of Turps magazine and has contributed critical essays to various art exhibition catalogues. In 2014, King translated Jean Genet’s The Studio of Giacometti, Grey Tiger Books.  

Daniel Coffeen has a PhD in Rhetoric from UC Berkeley where he was a lecturer for many years, in addition to teaching graduate seminars in critical theory at the San Francisco Art Institute. He's a frequent contributor to philosophy podcasts and a prolific blogger.
