Today we speak with Mr. Joydeep Karmakar.
Mr Joydeep belonged to a family of sports playing personalities, with his father being a national champion swimmer.
Mr. Joydeep himself is an Arjuna Awardee, and has represented India in 28 World Cups, 2 Commonwealth Games, 1 Asian Games and 3 World Championships.
He qualified to represent India at London 2012 Summer Olympics in Men's 50m Rifle Prone event where he stood 4th and was only a few inches short of the bronze medal.
He has his own shooting academy where he trains the next generation of shooters who aim to represent their country at the highest level
As per him, his best achievement is giving back to shooting community through his shooting academy
