Ten years ago, the three-wheeler Carver One was a hit. To be able to hang safely in the bend, it had an innovative tilting mechanism, designed by inventors Chris van den Brink and Harry Kroonen. The TV show Top Gear was very enthusiastic and orders were in the thousands. Until Toyota took over engine supplier Daihatsu and temporarily stopped the supply of engines to third parties. The company went bankrupt and Anton Rosier, the current CEO, stepped in for a restart.
The new Carver had to be designed completely electrically, as a luxury scooter for inner-city use with a range of 80-100 km and a maximum of 45 km / h. And the closed body should provide comfort and social and road safety.
