From my personal experience, I have learned that masturbation creates more problems than it ever claims to solve. According to biblical teaching, our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and indulging in this act does not honor that sacred temple. Instead, it feeds selfish desire and pulls the heart away from purity and obedience to God. Within marriage, it fails to honor the covenant relationship, because intimacy is meant to be shared with your spouse, not taken in isolation. Ultimately, masturbation is a sinful act because it is rooted in lust and self-gratification, not in God’s design for holiness. Choosing to resist it is not about legalism, but about walking in obedience to the Father and seeking to glorify Him with both body and spirit.

"Are Our Kids Smarter?" – A Brigade Roundtable w/ TK, Dough & Shea
In this eye-opening episode of A Brigade, TK joins forces with co-hosts Dough and Shea for a powerful and personal discussion that hits home for every parent navigating the modern world. The trio — all proud girl dads — tackle the hot-button question: Are our kids really smarter than we were growing up?
The conversation dives deep into generational contrasts, looking at how today’s teens, raised in the age of smartphones and social media, often believe they’ve got it all figured out — but are they truly wiser, or just more digitally fluent?
But it doesn’t stop there.
The crew also unpacks a deeper layer: faith-based parenting versus secular parenting. TK, Dough, and Shea open up about how their beliefs influence how they guide their daughters — from instilling values and discipline, to navigating identity, purpose, and pressure in a world that often rejects spiritual foundations. They contrast this with the more "do what feels right" approach many parents take today, where truth is relative and boundaries are blurred.
Topics include:
What does “smarter” really mean across generations?
How are we raising our daughters differently from how we were raised?
Does faith give our kids a deeper foundation, or is it seen as outdated?
Can there be a balance between being modern and being grounded in truth?
With real stories, moments of humor, and honest vulnerability, this episode is not about bashing the next generation — it’s about building bridges, checking our own biases, and asking the right questions as fathers and men of purpose.

Moral Compass from Scripture: Right and wrong are taught based on the Bible. They encourage obedience to God, respect for authority, and living a purpose-driven life.
Prayer and Devotion: Daily prayer, church involvement, and family devotionals are part of their routine, reinforcing faith and spiritual growth.
Discipline with Love and Purpose: Discipline is about correction in love, aiming to reflect God's discipline of His children—it's not just behavior control, but heart shaping.

"Jeep Show: A Trouper at the Battle of the Bulge"
is a historical novel by Robert B. O'Connor that delves into the experiences of Jim Tanzer, a 30-year-old dance instructor who enlists in the U.S. Army during World War II, despite having a fatherhood deferment. Throughout the novel, Jim collaborates with notable figures, including the real-life Hollywood star Private Mickey Rooney, who also served in the Morale Corps. Their mission is to uplift the spirits of soldiers amidst the harsh realities of war. However, Jim's journey takes a perilous turn when he becomes entangled in the Battle of the Bulge, one of the largest and most brutal battles fought by the American Army during the war. Stranded near the German border, he retreats to Bastogne and is integrated into Team SNAFU, a makeshift unit composed of survivors from overrun infantry companies and various rear-echelon soldiers pressed into combat to support the 101st Airborne Division.
