Over the course of several hours in the months leading up to McVeigh's execution, our Guest Lou Michel sat down with Timothy McVeigh and a tape recorder on a quest to share with the world McVeigh's story, - a story that jurors didn't get to hear, according to McVeigh himself. The result is an outstanding book called American Terrorist, Timothy McVeigh & The Oklahoma City Bombing, a New York Times Best Selling Novel he wrote with fellow journalist Dan Herbeck.
