As we re-visit the last major happening of King David's legendary reign, an incredible lesson for [Jewish] life comes to light in the most chilling of ways... Simply stated, it becomes crystal clear that we are Jewishly obligated to continue to kindle and nurture -- within our hearts and minds -- a flaming desire of anticipatory yearning, despite the passage of time and the increasingly remote idea of Hashem's Holy Home in Jerusalem ~ the proverbial Beit HaMikdash.
