Do you feel guilty wishing there was more to your life than wiping noses and doing dishes? Are you drowning in the responsibilities of just being Mom? Do you wonder why your pre-mom routines are no longer working?
I am so excited that you are here! This podcast will help find peace with the time you do have, start rebuilding routines you need to stay sane, invite you to see yourself how God sees you, and find joy in motherhood.
Hi, I’m Cheryl. A wife, mom, ministry leader, and Jesus lover. For years, I struggled to fit myself into the same routines, spiritual habits and identity I had as a newly married woman.
I was frustrated, discouraged and depressed when all I felt at the end of the day was worthless because I couldn’t accomplish all the things I used to be able to do.
I finally realized in trying to meet everyone’s needs except my own, I had forgotten who I was and, if I was going to have any joy in motherhood, I had to discover who I had become.
I had to rediscover my identity, learn how to prioritize my mental, spiritual, and even physical health so I could be the mom my girls needed.
If you’re ready to reclaim your identity, find Jesus in the middle of the dishes, and love yourself like your babies do, this podcast is for you.
Grab your ear pods and start folding laundry, this is Time for Mom.

12 | Called but Afraid, Mom? 5 Biblical Ways to Break Free and Prioritize Obedience
Has God placed a call on your life, but you don't know how to start?
Do you feel paralyzed by the thought of stepping into something new even though you know God is calling you?
Do you wish someone would just tell you how to be obedient through the fear?
If so, you’re in the right place.
Hi, I’m Cheryl - Wife, girl mom, and Jesus follower. I learned the not-so-secret ways to become the mom my girls needed by prioritizing Jesus back into mom life and reclaiming my identity. If you’re ready to build faith while washing dishes, rediscover your identity and love yourself like your babies do - grab your earbuds and lock the bathroom door for a minute alone, it’s Time for Mom.
In this episode, I’m sharing how I walk my children through fear and how God walks me through fear so you can follow the call God has placed on your life in spite of the fear.
Decide to trust God. Exodus 4:11-12
Pray. 2 Timothy 1:7 & Proverbs 3:6
Walk towards the fear. Isaiah 41:10 & Isaiah 43:2
Find some people to walk with you. 1 Thessalonians 5:11
Keep your eyes fixed on God. Proverbs 4:25-26 & Psalms 25:1-5
