Cụm từ này xuất phát từ việc… câu cá, nhưng ngày nay lại được dùng để chỉ một cách “thả mồi tình cảm” rất phổ biến trong giới trẻ. Trong tập này, tụi mình sẽ cùng khám phá “thính” là gì, những kiểu thả thính điển hình, và những câu chuyện phía sau văn hoá thả thính – một phần không thể thiếu trong giao tiếp tình cảm hiện đại. In the second episode of "Tiếng lóng vỡ lòng" (The ABCs of Vietnamese slang), we dive into the widely used phrase “thả thính”, which literally means “to drop bait” but has become a modern way of describing flirtatious behaviors. From cute social media posts to misleading attention, “thả thính” can be playful or problematic. Join us as we unpack what it means, explore different “thả thính” styles, and reflect on how this slang reflects emotional communication among Vietnamese youth today.
