We begin with Tyrande Whisperwind, High Priestess of Elune, who tends to the first drowned victims on Kalimdor’s coast. Their loss recalls centuries of grief, but also reveals the new fragility of a people who sacrificed immortality at Nordrassil. In Darnassus, Malfurion Stormrage hears grim reports of devastation, the fall of Darkshore, naga assaults on Feathermoon, and the silence of their coastal settlements. On Sardor Isle, Shandris Feathermoon leads her Sentinels against impossible odds. Waves and storms batter her forces as naga swarm the stronghold, their sorceress leader, Lady Szenastra, pressing the assault.
