Ep 24: Social Media Marketing Recap 2022

Hello and Welcome to another episode of Thriving With Alissa,

We just entered the new year its's January 3rd, 2023 I decided to record about my recap of my 2022 internship/work experience as a Social Media Marketer. Throughout the year I got reached out by people who found me on social media asking about how I got my work experience and how they can also work into the opportunities I got. I felt super touched and wanted to make an episode to sum up how I got started in the industry, keeping up w/ resume, and how/where to apply for the internship positions. I hope this episode is helpful for other creatives trying to break into this industry. Know we each have our own paths in this career, but hopefully my experience is helpful to others.

Ep 22: Solo Dates; Ideas, Why so important, and Why they are healthy wether in a relationship or not.

Hello, welcome to another Thriving with Alissa episode. This episode is all about riding SOLO. Solo dating can be a little weird at first but once you get comfortable with yourself and surroundings, you might like it more than you think. I have taken a summer internship opportunity far from home (California) to the east coast (Washington, DC). Taking this leap has brought me a lot of knowledge about my career and myself. Being out here alone with no family or friends has made me push myself more to go on solo dates and explore what DC has to offer. I even now have gotten comfortable that I look forward to taking myself out. In this episode I'll be giving Ideas on where or how to take yourself out on a solo date and why it's so important to go out and do them wether in a relationship or not. Also, answer questions like 'does it feel weird at first?' and  'why is self love so hard?'

I hope this episode motivates you to go explore your own and take yourself out! Till next time #thrivingwithalissa

Ep 19: Tennessee Trip Review, Sunnylands, & Hispanic Heritage Month

Hello Thrivers,

Welcome back to another episode of Thriving with Alissa. In this session I talk about my first time experience going to Nashville Tennessee. Why I spent my time there, how I prefer it more than Vegas, and a random fun fact I realized while being out there. I also recently just started in September a new internship position at an historic estate called Sunnlyands (located in Rancho Mirage, right in the Coachella Valley). I'll be sharing information about this beautiful place with so much historic information to share with you and others around the world. I recommend everyone to go, especially if your a local and it's right in your backyard. Lastly, I wrap up the episode touching on Hispanic Heritage Month (Sept.15-Oct.15) how I got asked by a good friend of mine to do speaking zoom engagement for Desert Hot Springs Elementary School and their families. Hear my reaction about it when I first got asked but also how being hispanic has shaped the proud hispanic woman I am today. Thank you for taking the time out of your day to listen -Love  #ThrivingwithAlissa

Episode 17: Taking Care & Taking A Leap of Faith

In this episode of Thriving with Alissa I give suggestions on ways I've been able to check in with myself and how you can also, keeping up with self care in different ways most of us don't think about. Like yearly annual physical checkups, taking a day trip out of town to feel refreshed, learning a new breathing exercise, going to therapy, and working out on my most insecure part of my body. I've also decided to take a leap of faith and start my own jewelry business. Talking about how so many doubts can stop us from trying something new but choosing to try otherwise. I will be having my first pop up stand at the Westfield Mall Palm Desert from 11am-4pm July 24th 2021. Much love for the support always, Thank you for taking the time to tune in!

Ep 9: What to know about CBD & Cannabis from an Influencer/Advocate's perspective

Welcome back everyone, to Thriving With Alissa! Today's episode for me was really fun to do, since it's the first time recording an over the phone interview. Our guest Magdaleen Andrews works for a brand called Wolfpack Mentatlity, that provides CBD and Cannabis products. She is considered to be a CBD & Cannabis Influencer/Advocate through her social media presence. She uses her presence to do product campaigns to promote the products but also uses them personally. She shares how the cannabis industry has changed her life from being hooked on prescription pills for a health illness she battles. We go over and I ask her questions like "What is the difference between CBD and THC?,  How or What methods can you use to consume cannabis?, and How does her family/friends feel knowing her cannabis lifestyle?"  I hope this helps and answers all your questions related to this industry and breaks down any negative stereotypes of CBD & Cannabis. Thank you all for listening in and enjoy! XOXO - # ThrivingWithAlissa
