This week we tackle the difficult conversation, now happening in Parliament, about allowing assisted dying. Would legalising be a compassionate choice — or a sign we’ve lost sight of life’s sacredness? We don’t necessarily agree on this one and so we can genuinely explore both sides. On the one hand, we ask if we have the right to deny people an end to their suffering if that’s what they wish. On the other, we discuss how life is a gift; how gratitude shapes our response to suffering, and why a grateful heart can change the options someone chooses at the end of their life. Thoughtful, honest, and personal. We aim to leave you with maybe not the right answers, but at least the right questions.
