We separated this conversation from the main feed episode as we love Paddington very much and wanted our regular episode to be a celebration of him (plus it was getting a bit long).

However, there has been a sharp vibe-shift in the public perception of this character/franchise, and it merits discussion.

In this bonus episode, we discuss how a radical celebration of immigration has been co-opted by the establishment to the point that Paddington is no longer recognised in the public consciousness as a refugee.
