Shaka illembe proved to be one of the best shows on T.V. in 2023. A great show to shape the narrative around King Shaka. I'm totally amazed when folks don't fully capitalize on shows like this. set in the hills of KwaZulu-Natal this is a story that does not age, as I navigate my way through Zululand. I'm blown away at the beauty and constantly wonder what it must have been like for King Shaka who has ran the hills, looked at the same vistas and lived a full life in this natural beauty.
