Opening weekend saw Tom dispatched to Grimsby, arriving home with an inflatable haddock, via chance encounters with a club owner and a couple of EFL players who shared the same train home.

The EFL is back - 2025/26 season is here and the Championship returns from August 8. Here at Sporting Life we cannot wait. We've previewed League Two and League One and now it's the turn of the second tier.
