Major Takeaways: As a co-creator in the Universe, you get to assign meaning to every single situation you experience. This can come up in the moment, change over time, or occur upon reflection. The Law of Relativity is the idea that everything is relative, and events or circumstances can mean something different from each unique perspective. Your individualized perspective is the "frame through which you view the world" and may be shaped by your identity, life experiences, and beliefs. There is no right or wrong way to view the world, and each person's perspective is valid. Once you identify the elements of your frame, you are able to release any elements that no longer serve you. Considering the elements in others' frames allows us to build understanding with those who view the world differently from how we view the world. Obstacles are opportunities for growth. The "Pet at the Vet Mindset" is the idea that in the moment when we are experiencing discomfort, we can feel a bit like a pet at the vet. We may feel scared, in pain, and unsure of why this situation is unfolding. Choosing to trust the Universe in those moments of feeling like a pet at the vet, knowing that there may come a point in the future when you will be able to assign a valuable meaning to the lesson learned, can be empowering while still validating your experience. The concept includes the idea that, from the perspective of the Universe, which has a bird's eye view of your soul progression, that an experience may be "for your own good," despite the momentary discomfort.
