Love and Forgiveness is our Calling

So many times we ask Yah what is our calling. The other day the Lord said He gave us a big calling, but so often, we don’t see it (like the disciples 🥹).

He said love is a biggg calling. Today in my time with Him, He showed me that the power of forgiveness is also a BIGG calling.

Did you know that forgiveness is actually a power??? I didn’t.

It takes love & faith to forgive. One of the disciples asked Jesus how many times should we forgive our brother and He said 70×7 😂, then asked the Lord to then increase his FAITHHH 🥹

In John chapter 20, Lord revisited them after His rising, and says “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent Me, I also send you” . After saying this, He breathed into them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive the sins of any, they’re forgiven, but if you retain the sins of any, they are retained” (John 20:21-23).

Forgiveness is a power and a calling. God entrusted us also with the knowledge of the cost of not forgiving. How can we not forgive someone and then want our Heavenly Father to forgive us? When struggling with forgiveness (knowingly or unknowingly) I learned today to ask the Lord to increase my love and faith.

We get so caught up in thinking that purpose is only what we do physically (writing the book, maintaining the ministry, clubs, etc), but He’s asking us to do two things ALWAYS: love/forgive while fulfilling the other stuff. Because actually we would not be fulfilling the scriptures/the prophetic word over our lives if we do not do both 🙌🏽. Above all, the most important is love. If we love Him, not only will we keep His commands, but by default we will love others, & fulfill his word complete word over our lives.

It’s okay to be growing in our calling of love. Just know that we HAVEEE a huge calling at all times, apart from the other stuff ☺️.

love covers a multitude of sins. LOVING & forgiving our friend, a person you once loved romantically, your pastors/leaders, our family members, or coworkers IS apart of our calling
