A travel podcast through the eyes of a first-generation Latina! My name is Bianca Alba and I am so excited to have this platform where I can share stories with you about some of the amazing places I have visited throughout the years! More than that, this podcast is also a way for me to share proof that dreams can become reality. I grew up with three sisters in a single parent home, so for a long time, trips and vacations were just an idea. This podcast has shown me not just how far I’ve come, but how far we can go as Latinas who love to travel.

This Latina Travels to El Salvador

Pues si cipote, bienvenidos to episode 5!  Hoy voy a hablar de El Salvador, la casa de las pupusas y horchata! Besides DELICIOUS food, El Salvador is full of rich history that is largely unknown, and I hope this episode gives you an insight and motivation to have these conversations!

I am so grateful that I was chosen to be a learning partner for George Mason’s Alternative Break Program! This trip's focus was specifically on ‘Human Rights and Violence Prevention’ and the best part I was able to go for FREE! I’m a strong believer that in life you get what you put in. To me, service has always been an important driving factor, not only in my career in Public Health, but in Life! So tune in and get ready for this journey!
