Angelo, known by his stage name DJ A-Style, began his DJ journey in 2006 on turntables, mastering the craft with vinyl, the "Black Gold." After honing his skills, he landed his first gig in 2007, with Brennan Heart headlining. From there, A-Style became a regular in clubs around Tilburg, supporting legendary acts such as Wildstylez, Noisecontrollers, Technoboy, Frontliner, DBSTF, and Psykopunkz.
By 2012, as the Hardstyle scene evolved into what is now known as Raw Classics, A-Style decided to step back from the scene. However, in 2017, when the euphoric Hardstyle sound resurfaced, he made a powerful comeback. This return marked the birth of the "This Is Freestyle" podcast, where he blended jump, freestyle, Hardstyle, and hardcore into dynamic sets. Initially airing on several online radio stations, the podcast gained momentum, leading A-Style to join the Real Hardstyle team, where he received substantial support.
The essence of "This Is Freestyle" is creative freedom, allowing A-Style to explore different genres within each set. Hardstyle remains the core of his sound, but his sets often feature a mix of styles, kicking off with euphoric Hardstyle, progressing to Raw Hardstyle, and closing with Hardcore in all its forms. Each of his 30-track sets is a unique journey, designed to captivate and energize his audience.
