Special and the SSI Reformation Act

This episode is a review of the show Special. Special is the first TV show that is written and the main character is played by a disabled person. Ryan O'Connell place the main character Ryan in the show. It is about a young gay White disabled man navigating his way through life. If you haven't seen the show on Netflix you're missing out. It's much more finisher that's just about disability.

The second part of this podcast is an interview I did with KP Whaley on Asheville FM NewsHour. We talk about the SSI Reformation Act and if this Act becomes a bill how it will help disabled people have a more equity in their communities.
