I'm a mom on a mission. My son Joshua was diagnosed with celiac disease on Jan 23, 2019, after being sick for over 2 years. A blood test and endoscopy confirmed his diagnosis. In my research, I learned that the average time to diagnosis is 6-10 years in the U.S. We started a podcast This Crazy Celiac Life to help spread the word about CD and to support people with Celiac Disease and NCGS. How hard can it be to get diagnosed with Celiac Disease?

Apparently, it can be quite difficult. Just ask Kim Klein. Her daughter Piper was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes when she was 2 years old. She has been screened yearly for Celiac Disease because of the relation between Diabetes 1 and Celiac. This year, the screening came back positive,  and they got an endoscopy that came back negative.  Listen in to find out the rest of the story.
