Even when this is certainly an important part of our story, there are many more things that are also important to the full picture.
In today’s episode, I talked to Karina Ventura. She is a first-generation, Latinx woman who is currently a graduate student at Cal State San Bernardino. Karina and I explored the many skills and support systems that helped us get through our undergrad careers as first-gen students.
Main Points:
4.00 how to develop a support system
7.10 what is the value of being involved on campus?
