In this week’s episode of ‘Therapy-ish, we sit down with Dr. Henry Venter, a licensed clinical psychologist and professor of psychology at National University. This episode is all about the relationship between attending college and the younger generation.
From the fast-developing media landscape making many traditional degrees irrelevant, to the lack of career guidance available to younger people, to an overarching lack of purpose pervasive among younger people, Asha and Dr. Venter dive deep into the pressures to enroll in higher education.
Therapy-ish was created with the mindset of removing the stigma around mental health and to help bridge the gap from the streets to the office. Our goal is to educate listeners on new ways to go about seeking help, becoming more aware of where we are, discuss therapy in traditional and non-traditional ways with expressing new ways to move forward in the world.
