Challenging Advice on Prayer that Made a Massive Difference for Me

A number of years ago, an elder at my church gave me some advice on prayer. He shared it with me just as I was about to go to Bible College to train for Christian ministry. It's something that has been crucial in my formation as a Christian and how I pray. Hope his advice here for me, can be helpful for you too.
