This week I sat down with my friend Sarah to talk about branding and what it really means today. It’s not just something for companies anymore. In a way, every single one of us has become our own brand, whether we realize it or not.

Sarah and I grew up during the early days of social media, back when you needed a college email address just to sign up for Facebook. It’s wild to see how much has changed since then. Now social media isn’t only about staying connected. It’s where people share their work, their style, their lives, and it has become a huge part of how we all present ourselves.

Sarah has such an interesting background in buying and merchandising, and she shared a lot of lessons she’s picked up throughout her career. What I loved most is how her experiences show that no matter where you are in life, you’re always learning and collecting little insights that shape how you show up later.

For me, this was also a chance to be real about my own weak spots. As I grow this podcast, I know I need to get stronger with social media and learn more about the trends. Talking with Sarah gave me some fresh ideas and reminded me that branding isn’t about being perfect. It’s about being intentional and real with how you show up.
