Jacquelyn is a racial wellness visionary and healing-informed designer. She has a Bachelor's degree in social welfare from UC Berkeley and a Master of Science in interaction design, where her focus was on creating healing environments. Today, she is the founder of Making the Body a Home, where she designs offerings for the body and home that help people stimulate racial wellness. Blessing Omakwu is a Nigerian-American gender equality evangelist, lawyer, social impact curator, and the Deputy Director of the Bill and Melinda Gates’ Foundation’s Goalkeepers. Goalkeepers is a campaign, community, and catalyst for action on the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. In past life chapters, Blessing worked with and advised a variety of international organizations and government agencies, including the ONE Campaign, the Nigerian Federal House of Representatives, and the United Nations. Woven in her story is a profound love for storytelling – Blessing writes at the intersection of womanhood, religion and (pop) culture.
